First one on the page. The beginning of a dialogue with the world. My thoughts in print. To paraphrase Navin Johnson in The Jerk when the new phonebooks arrive: 'My name in print! Good things are gonna start happening to me now.'
Of course that was followed by the line ' Johnson, Navin R... Sounds like a typical bastard.
But still this could be an interesting writing exercise for me. I can use this blog as a way to loosen up the creative cogs and clear out the cobwebs and mix metaphors all at the expense of you, the loyal reader.
I'm speaking to a future loyal reader of course since, unless you are reading this blog as an archived document from some imagined point in the future where I have become the voice of my generation, venerated by the intelligencia across the United Cosmos Federation and my blog is still the source for news and opinion even though I now only exist as a brain floating in a gaseous membrane orbiting Pluto. Greetings to you future reader in your floating easy chair inside your Pleasuredome.
See, that's the sort of wackiness you can expect. As well as some reflections on the good and bad in my life. Pop cultural references and reviews. And the continuing evolution of my ongoing manifesto. Maybe this will be fun for all. Read and enjoy. Or stop reading. No pressure.
